FULLY CHARGED TICKETING FAQ’S

How much are tickets?

Tickets purchased online prior to the day of the event:
Adult $6
Concession $5
Child 3-15 years $5
Family (2 Adults + 3 Children) $20
Under 3 years Free (requires a free ticket)
Museum Members Free (no ticket required, just show your Annual Pass card at the gate)

Tickets purchased at the event on the day:
Adult $10
Concession $7
Child 3-15 years $7
Family (2 Adults + 3 Children) $30
Under 3 years Free (requires a free ticket)

Do I have to pay for my infant to attend?

Infants under 3 years are FREE but do require a ticket secured for them during the booking process.

Can I make a group booking?

No, to keep things fair and allow everyone a chance to attend, group bookings are not possible. The maximum number of tickets that can be purchased in one transaction is 10.

Why is the capacity at entry times limited?

To ensure the Fully Charged experience is an enjoyable one for all visitors, we have capped each event entry time to assist with evenly distributing attendance across the one-day event.

What if I miss out on a ticket?

If you miss out on securing a ticket, look to the skies above Queensland Museum Rail Workshops on Saturday 4 May where you will be wowed by the Wolf Pitts Pro and Zivko Edge 540 solo aircraft displays.  Loved across Australia, the SkyAces Team will leave you gasping with an array of dazzling formation aerobatics in close proximity over North Ipswich as part of Fully Charged at Queensland Museum Rail Workshops. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

Yes, you can gift your ticket to someone else, however they cannot be on sold. Entry may be refused to the holder of the resold ticket.

Can I onsell my ticket?

Tickets must not be resold. Entry may be refused to the holder of the resold ticket.

What if I am unable to attend the event?

Unfortunately, refunds are not available. You are welcome to gift your ticket to a friend, however they cannot be on sold. Entry may be refused to the holder of the resold ticket.

Can I just show up and get in if someone cancels?

No, all tickets must be pre-purchased.  A small allocation of tickets may be available to purchase on the day at an additional cost.

Who is the ticket supplier?

QTIX, the contractor used by Queensland Museum Rail Workshops, is managing the ticketing for Fully Charged.

Do I have to have a credit card to purchase tickets?

No, you can also purchase via a Visa Debit Card, Debit Mastercard or PayPal account.

Who will the transaction come from on my credit or debit card?

The transaction description will appear as: QTIX ticketing.

I can’t find my ticket confirmation what do I do?

Check your junk mailbox and try a keyword search QTIX. If you still cannot find your confirmation email please email QTIX your name and booking reference number to [email protected]

I don’t like online booking systems can I purchase over the phone?

Yes, please contact QTIX on 13 62 46.

Do I need to print my ticket/s?

No, you can show your digital tickets at the entry gate, please have them ready on your phone to be scanned.

Do I need to print a separate ticket for each person attending on my booking?

Digital tickets can be shown at the entry gate, however if you would like to print your tickets you need to print all tickets purchased as each ticket has a unique barcode.

FULLY CHARGED GENERAL FAQ’S

Are you expecting large crowds at the event?

We are expecting 10,000 people across the event hours of 9am – 4pm.  Fewer tickets are available for purchase for the afternoon entry times.

Is the event sensory friendly?

Elements of the Fully Charged event will be noisy, have very low light, be bright and may flash.  Noise cancelling headphones and Sensory Kits are available from the Ticket Office.  A Chill Out Zone is also located at the event.

As this is a one-day major event, sensory friendly sessions are unavailable however fewer tickets are available for purchase for the afternoon entry times.

What happen if it rains?

Fully Charged is an all-weather event. The event will proceed in light rain, and we ask visitors to bring an umbrella or raincoat. Please follow Ipswich Festivals Facebook Page for the latest updates on weather.

How long can I stay at the event for?

There is no limit on how long you stay at Fully Charged. It generally takes 2-3 hours to experience everything the event has to offer. Fully Charged runs from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, with entry times commencing at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm.

What happens if I run late for my entry time?

Entry times are 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm. If you are running late for your entry time you can still enter when you arrive. Please note: last entry into the event is 2:00 pm to ensure you have enough time to experience everything the event has to offer.

 

Will there be food and drinks at the venue?

Yes, there is an onsite café as well as food trucks and stalls with food and beverages available for purchase.

Is the event wheelchair friendly?

Yes, all entrances and majority of the areas in the museum are wheelchair accessible. Exhibition areas in the museum are accessed via gently sloping ramps or at ground level.

Can I bring my tripod to take photos?

Due to the safety of event visitors, staff and volunteers, amateur photographers who utilise tripods are asked to leave them at home on this occasion.
