With over 6000ha of open parks and conservation areas, it’s no wonder Ipswich is the home of so many outdoor recreation and endurance events.

The Ipswich100 Charity Bike Ride is a project of The Moggill Mt Crosby Lions Club in association with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation. All proceeds from the ride are donated to charity. Take a ride for a great cause!
Merida 24 Hour
Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April 2023
Hidden Vale Adventure Park, 617 Grandchester Mount Mort Road, Grandchester
The ‘MERIDA Hidden Vale 24HR’ is a Solo, Team Relay and Kids Mountain Biking event starting at 12pm Saturday and finishing at 12pm Sunday. Riders compete for medals, prizes and bragging rights. It’s a weekend filled with camaraderie, activities and fun that you’ll never forget!
The Rogue Raid

Lake Wivenhoe, Qld
Take part in one of Australia’s largest 24 hour adventure races that involves multiple stages of the traditional adventure racing disciplines of trekking, mountain biking and kayaking. Teams may attempt to collect as many or as few checkpoints as they wish, making this event achievable by all levels of athlete.

The award-winning 99 Bikes Cycle Epic is a great mountain biking tradition that began in 2002 with a bunch of mates challenging themselves on a 117km epic trail ride. In 2003, the inaugural Australian mountain bike marathon started a new era in the sport. The new tracks cater for all different ages and skill levels. Join in!
