The Gathering

The Gathering returns to Ipswich this May over a spectacular two-day event. Join us as we bring together the wider community in celebration of Celtic music, cultural experiences and performances.

• The Queensland Pipe Band Championship culminating in the massed pipes and drums
• Main Stage performances by traditional, choral and modern folk music groups
• Highland Dancing performances, workshops and outdoor Ceilidh
• The impressive Highland Games
• The Discovery Centre featuring lost Celtic arts and culture, and includes workshops
• Lantern Lighting ceremony including make-your-own authentic bamboo lanterns
• Historical and Medieval displays
• Markets, international food, traditional fare and much more
