OUR PICNIC RUG IS FULL – TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC IS SOLD OUT!

If you go down in the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise. If you go down in the woods today, you’d better go in disguise. For every bear that ever there was, will gather there together because, today’s the day the teddy bears have their picnic.

Children and their families are invited to celebrate SPARK Ipswich’s inaugural Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy, picnic rug and snacks.

There will be craft workshops for you and teddy to enjoy, stage performances, roving entertainers and of course… A Bear Hunt!

Teddy Bears’ Picnic is a pet free zone, please leave your furry friends at home.

WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES

Children are spoilt for choice with hands on, continuous drop in workshops and activities including:

  • Queensland Museum Rail Workshops – Teddy Bear Puppets
  • Triangle House – Teddy Bear Masks and Bear Ears
  • Little Green Thumbs – Colourful Minds
  • Wildlings Forest School – Bear Caves and Crown or Jewellery for you and Teddy 
  • Twist & Paint and Swish – Face Painting

+  a BEAR HUNT!

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy, picnic rug and snacks.  The site Cafe will be open, with select food trucks also available to help finish your picnic feast.

PARKING & TRANSPORT

PARKING
Parking is available within the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops onsite carpark as the surrounding streets.

Disability parking is available within the Queensland Museum Rail Workshops onsiet carpark.

Note: Please do not park across driveways of local residents

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The Ipswich Train Station is a 10-15 minute bus ride to Queensland Museum Rail Workshops with a Translink Bus Stop (Route 515) located right out the front of the venue.
