Older than the state of Queensland, eerie Goodna Cemetery is one of the most haunted graveyards in Australia. Visit the children who leave their handprints on cars, hear of black magic, a terrible crime, the mystery of the asylum graves and terrifying “Headless Angel”.

A once-a-year opportunity for photographers and those who enjoy a spooky tale to visit Cooneana Heritage Centre after dark.
The Cooneana Blacksmiths will be working their forges – flames flying high. Master story-teller, Jack Sim, will relate stories of Ipswich residents of the past.
Are there ghosts in Ipswich? Walk through Cooneana Homestead by lamplight. Do you feel a chill? Bring your friends so you have someone’s hand to hold! Hungry? Buy a baked potato and a drink.
