The Festival of Horsepower is back in June with a month-long program packed full of adrenaline and excitement in the City of Ipswich! The annual festival features a number of Australia’s signature racing and motorsport events, from the raw and adrenaline fuelled action of the Gulf Western Oil Winternationals, to the glitz and glamour of the TAB Ipswich Cup, to fast and hard racing action at Queensland Raceway’s 2 Days of Thunder and much more.

See the amazing flame-throwing ‘Top Fuel Funny Cars’ and all the thrilling non-stop racing action at the biggest drag racing event outside of North America!

Light up the night and find out firsthand what it’s like to drive under the bright lights on the other side of the pitwall on this epic social cruise night.
SUN 15 JUNE | ALL GM DAY
Celebrate all things General Motors in a day full of action both on and off the track. Bring your GM vehicle and enjoy thrash sessions, roll racing, parade laps and much more!
SUN 15 JUNE | FROM HORSES TO HORSEPOWER FAMILY FUN DAY
Discover the evolution of ‘horsepower’ from horse-drawn vehicles to roaring race cars and much more at the Cooneana Heritage Centre.

FRI 20 JUNE | SUPERBIKE RIDE EXPERIENCE
