STORYLINE ART & YARNING – FINDING HOME ON COUNTRY

Saturday 5 September & Sunday 13 September 2026

Nhuralama presents a culturally grounded workshop exploring the meaning of home through yarning, storytelling, Indigenous teas, native-inspired tasting and creative expression.

Proud Wakkaya, Wombaya and Waanyi woman Anne Leon, raised in Tulmur (Ipswich), shares stories from her family, Countries and cultural journey while honouring the Traditional Owners of Tulmur.

Participants gather for a yarning circle, enjoy a taste of Country, and create a small artwork inspired by their own journey of home, belonging and connection.
