What are the dates of the Festival?

SPARK Ipswich has events, activities and workshops all across the City of Ipswich.

Are children welcome at the Festival?
SPARK Ipswich is a family-friendly Festival; with dedicated kids programming. Some events are 18+ and are marked as such in the program guide.

I’m an artist/performer – can I be involved in the Festival?
SPARK Ipswich is a fully curated festival with the program developed by a programming team. We do invite expressions of interest from artists and creative practitioners for specific elements of our program each year.

Our program for 2026 has been finalised. If you wish to put forward a program idea for future festivals, please email events@ipswich.qld.gov.au. We recommend signing up for our e-news and social media channels so you can stay up to date with information!

Can I volunteer at the Festival?

We welcome all audiences to SPARK Ipswich and strive to make every event as accessible as possible. On each of the event pages we have provided as much information as possible for each of our events and festival venues, including companion tickets, access facilities, sensory, aural and visual access.We are always open to discussing your requirements to assist wherever possible.
