Hannah Cryle

The Big Wheel Show, celebrates “everyday strong women” linking the power of mothers, teachers, nurses and community leaders to that of the circus strong woman. This show has been touring the world for the past 14 years and has won multiple international street theatre awards. Through comedy and circus stunts in the German Wheel, Hannah Cryle encourages audiences to recognise and appreciate the strength of the women in their own families.

Lisa Lottie

Lisa Lottie presents: Bend It Like Barbie – An Hilarious Circus Spectacle! Expect outrageous comedy, mind-blowing flexibility, and world-class hula hoop stunts in this fast-paced, high-energy show! Caro Francis

Ipswich’s Caro Francis is an electronic musician whose sound palette, songwriting and innovative production has caught the ear of tastemakers both locally and overseas. Expect a blend of her own idiosyncratic productions, unreleased tracks from friends, and an eclectic mix of dance-friendly club sounds.

Damien J Johnson

Damien J. Johnson is an award-winning, chart-topping, Ipswich-based Country/Blues artist. He has shared the stage with Australian music icons James Blundell, Daryl Braithwaite, and David McCormack (Custard), and has been featured on ABC Country and ABC Local Radio.

Damien J. Johnson will bring an acoustic, solo set on Thursday that will give audiences the opportunity to hear the raw, heartfelt essence of his song-writing.

On Saturday he turns up the energy with The Damien J. Johnson band, who will bring plenty of opportunities to sing-a-long, dance-a-long and clap-a-long to their funky, blues-infused country-esque songs.

Denzel Kennedy

Denzel Kennedy is an emerging Australian artist working at the intersection of music, storytelling, and cultural identity. As a Kalkadoon man, his work is deeply informed by lived experience, growing up away from Country while navigating identity, belonging, and expression – his creative practice aims to translate these experiences into sound and narrative that resonate with both personal and collective meaning.

Experience hip-hop and rap, often blended with elements of jazz and alternative production, that feels immersive where storytelling, tone, and atmosphere work together to spark reflection and curiosity in the listener.

B33fcake

Ipswich’s B33fcake eludes categorisation like a chameleon on a dense rainforest floor – one moment he’ll be crafting emotional, trippy electronica inspired by the likes of George Clanton and Imogen Heap, and the next he’s neck-deep in a TR-909 creating twisted rhythms that belong on the USBs of legendary dance artists like Underworld and Against All Logic. The itch he longs to scratch is simple; expertly curating the precise moment when a person truly succumbs to the music – the wonky synths, chugging bass and skittering percussion takes over the body and commands it to shake its hips in some sort of sonic hypnosis ritual.

DJ GAV

DJ Gav will be mixing all tunes soulful and funky – from the popular to the alternative on vinyl and digital formats.

Gling

Gling Hunt is a seasoned musician with an impressive musical journey spanning over 20 years. With a diverse background performing at a wide range of events, from large-scale festivals to intimate gigs, Gling has honed his ability to seamlessly connect with the atmosphere of any occasion. Notably, Gling’s musical talents extend beyond the stage. He’s not only skilled both as a frontman and musician, but has also demonstrated his versatility in the world of composition and film scoring.

Gling has an ability to infuse his musical sensibilities into powerful visual storytelling, with his musical journey being one of continuous growth and innovation.

Fronted by female singer songwriter Milly Sargeant, the band features a powerhouse lineup of intergenerational talent — Eva Fritz on keys, Dave (Bud) Beckett, on bass, Ziggy Sargeant on drums, and Mitchell Bell on lead guitar.

Mzaza

Australian Folk Group of the Year (2025), MZAZA are six spellbinding musicians led by French-Australian singer Pauline Maudy. Their songs – deftly realised with vocal harmonies, accordion, violin, shah kaman (Persian spike-fiddle), drums, double bass and guitar – draw inspiration from France, Spain and the Balkans. Drawing inspiration from bands and musicians such as The Head Hunters, John Scofield, Casiopea and Alfa Mist, Squibs blend the hard-hitting grooves of funk and rock with the excitement of jazz improvisation and harmony.

Tigerlil

Ipswich local Tigerlil brings a colourful blend of sound shaped by a life in circus, burlesque, and the arts. Tigerlil spins an eclectic and vibrant mix of feel-good grooves, funky rhythms, and unexpected delights—creating the perfect soundtrack for browsing the Artist Night Market. Come for the markets, stay for the vibe.

The Emmavilles

Formed in 2019, The Emmavilles are an alt-country rock band from Tulmur/Ipswich. Blending sentimental storytelling with slow burning guitar driven tones, their songs recall subjects closest to their hearts; childhood memories and family dysfunction, dystopian dreamings, and observations of middle age life in a modern age.

“Made up of slow burning country and rock, The Emmavilles are soft-spoken and clouded in a haze of bittersweet recollections. Follow them in their travails, however, and you’ll run across a mostly hidden energy and passion, only surfacing when the band recall the things that are closest to their hearts.” Chris Cobcroft, 4ZZZ

Wild Eyed Wonder

Wild Eyed Wonder is the music project of Ipswich artist Dee Bradbery—an accomplished singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Shaped by rhythm and a love of storytelling, her songs dance across genres, balancing groove-driven energy with moments of stillness and reflection. Drawn to collaboration, she creates music that brings people together, including Hipswich (Ipswich Civic Centre, 2025) which united over 120 performers, and the award-winning production Roller Coaster (Everybody Now!, 2023). Her work has resonated with listeners across Australia and internationally. Grounded in hope, Wild Eyed Wonder invites audiences into a world of playfulness and possibility.

Zenekar Music

Zenekar are a quartet of Clarinet, Accordion, Double Bass and Percussion who draw inspiration from many folk music traditions to create their own originally crafted music. You will hear lyrical melodies reminiscent of Parisian street buskers, the powerful passion of Argentinian tango, the rhythmic energy of Afro-Cuban grooves and the exoticism of Eastern European melodies at this performance. In 2024 they were finalists for the Queensland Music Award in the Folk/World category and earlier in 2026 released their debut album titled “Swirls” through 4000 Records.

Projection Artists

Andrew Kimberly

Moment. computer animation, 2024: A climber. A cliff. A single suspended moment. Moment is a short film exploring the fragility and unpredictability of life, in a world of wood, papier-mâché, and paper.

Crafted world. computer animation, 2025: Crafted world is a short piece observing small creatures in their world – a meditation on the relationship between the created and the living.

Andrew Kimberley makes things with his hands because he can’t stop. Alongside a broader animation practice, he creates computer animated handcraft style worlds as a kind of meditation, a way to slow down and focus. Drawn to texture, to soft light, to the moment that it all comes together. His work to creates a stillness in the viewer for a moment of reflection, a moment of pause to consider the themes of connection and the environment, and get lost in the now, even if just briefly.

Breeana Hudson

Breeanna Hudson is a Springfield-based visual artist and digital illustrator whose work explores the body, identity, and human connection through bold colour, symbolic repetition, and layered pattern. She works across analogue and digital processes — hand-sketching forms and colour compositions before scanning and refining them as digital illustrations.

It begins with a murmur.
A book opened quietly.
A quill dipped in ink when no one was watching.
Small acts of curiosity – what if this matters?
The camera, raised as a witness.
A dictaphone pressed to record what might otherwise be denied.
A mouth opens, not a speech but a cry, a voice that has stopped asking permission.
It passes woman to woman, word of mouth.
Dismissed as gossip.
Survived as history.
What remains is the record — and the things that grow from it.
Women have always been speaking.
The question was whether the world was ready to call it a voice.

Donna Davis

Would You Love Me More…?
2021, Donna Davis, Audio by Tai Inoue.

‘Would You Love Me More…?’ evokes notions of preciousness and decadence; playing with the idea of ‘green blindness’ the work seeks to challenge perceived ecological hierarchies and encourage us to reflect on relationships with our multi-species kin.

The animation features eight climate-threatened endangered and critically-endangered flora species reimagined; cloaked in materials traditionally aligned with luxury and status in order to entice the viewers gaze and attention.
Through re-seeing, the work aims to scrutinize our own ‘green blindness’ and re-draw attention to the value of these species whose tropical mountain home is currently under threat from anthropogenic caused rising temperatures.
The work invites the viewer to consider the natural world not merely for our pleasure, rather as a multitude of interconnected systems that supports the health of our planet. Ultimately without plants, humans and all life could not exist, we are intrinsically linked and therefore share the same fate.

Artwork created in response to an art/science residency embedded within the Tropical Mountain Plant Science Project; a collaboration between the Australian Tropical Herbarium at James Cook University, the Australian National Botanic Gardens, Western Yalanji traditional Owners, the Wet Tropics Management Authority, the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria, the Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and the Cairns Botanic Gardens. Funded by the Ian Potter Foundation and Wet Tropics Management Authority.

Species referenced in this work: Boea kinnearii (Endangered); Eucryphia wilkiei (Critically Endangered); Hymenophyllum whitei (Critically endangered); Micromyrtus delicata (Endangered); Prostanthera albohirta (Critically endangered); Rhodamnia longisepala (Critically endangered); Syzygium fratris (Critically endangered); Zieria alata (Critically endangered).
