There’s an old saying, popularised by The Breakfast Club: “you mess with the bull, you get the horns”. What does it mean? Not much really. Mostly that if you do something dangerous, you might get hurt. One dangerous thing you could do would be to miss the crazy, brass based, MC led explosion that is BULLHORN.

These party animals combine virtuosic musicianship, crazy arrangements, catchy grooves and upbeat rhythms to whip the audience into a veritable frenzy. This nine piece behemoth is hell-bent on good times.

The City of Ipswich Pipe Band is one of Australia’s oldest pipe bands formed in 1909 by the Ipswich Caledonian Society with aims to foster the culture of Pipe Band music and the training of members in the art of piping and drumming.

East of West is an ARIA Award winning world music project led by Bosnian-born composer Goran Gajić (Double Bass), with Philip Griffin on Oud and Malindi Morris on Percussion. The trio formed in 2018 in order to explore new compositions that spring from the rich musical influences of the Balkans and the Mediterranean. East of West’s intricate story-telling compositions are spun over rich traditional rhythms, entwining elements of jazz and allowing space for open solos and improvisation.

Estampa is a World/Folk quartet based in Brisbane, Australia. This ensemble includes a unique blend of violin, viola, vocals, nyckelharpa (Rebecca Karlen), button accordion (John Reeves), guitar, banjo (Paul Henderson) and double-bass (Samuel Vincent). 

These well established musicians come from diverse musical backgrounds and together perform an eclectic mix of music, including Gypsy Jazz, Brazilian vocal and instrumental music, Scandinavian and other World Folk music. Evoking visions of Parisian laneways, South American sensuality, and the unbridled joy of European folk-music, this group of fiery musicians is sure to appeal to a diverse and eager-to-dance audience. Expect an eclectic experience that will leave you feeling like you’ve entered a 1930’s Parisian jazz club or the streets of São Paulo.

Gen絃 (meaning “string” in Japanese) is a Brisbane-based, multi-instrumental fusion duo featuring Takako Haggarty and Phill Wilson that explores the intersections between Eastern tradition and Western contemporary sound. Gen絃’s music is an evolving musical conversation, reflecting each artist’s unique background and the creative possibilities their collaboration brings to life.

Featuring a rich blend of guitar, koto, shamisen, bass koto, and voice, Gen絃 weaves the textures of traditional Japanese music with the expressive tones of blues, jazz, and roots, creating a genre-defying fusion of East and West.

Blending beloved Greek hits with soul, jazz, and lush harmonies, their music celebrates culture, connection, and community. Backed by a stellar band featuring bouzouki, piano accordion, and rhythm section, their performances are heartfelt, joy-filled, and groove-packed. From sold-out shows at QPAC to festivals across Queensland, Girl From Greece brings a unique cross-cultural sound that uplifts and unites. Let’s Bollywood Dance School started with a passion to bring the fun and excitement of Bollywood dancing to Southeast Queensland. We get kids and adults to enjoy the movement of their bodies to the upbeat Bollywood music. We fuse together classical and folk Indian dance styles with contemporary Bollywood movements to create a fun and thrilling environment.

Based in Ipswich, with a thriving peka on the Sunshine Coast, NMO provides a welcoming space for members to reconnect with their Māori heritage and build whanaungatanga. With its infectious energy and commitment to Te Ao Māori, Ngā Mānia Onewhero is a testament to the power of kapa haka to bring people together and celebrate identity.
