Marburg Heritage Tour

Join us on an adventure to the country. Marburg was voted one of Queensland’s friendliest towns and is the ideal day that will be filled with rich history and many tales to be told. First stop is delicious morning tea at the beautiful Soul Nook Collective with a touch of shopping at the old church grounds.

Discover the township of Marburg and visit highly popular boutiques including Scotland Yard Antique shop, Special Branch Collective, Black Museum and the must see quirky little street Library. You will be treated to a special history talk about Marburg from the Rosewood Scrub Historical Society followed by lunch at Marburg Hotel, run by the Bowden family since 1944.

After lunch, a tour of the iconic heritage listed Woodlands of Marburg’s stately grounds, cemetery and church to complete your day before returning to Queens Park Ipswich.

Meet in front of Nerima Gardens main gates area to board bus (closest to car park). Queens Park, Burley Griffin Drive via Griffith Road, Ipswich QLD 4305. Free all day parking available. The bus will be onboarding and dropping off at this location.
