Heritage Engineering Bus Tour

Ipswich has a long and proud engineering history, beginning from its beginnings as a limestone quarry and site for lime burning to help build the convict settlement of Moreton Bay.

Join Engineering Heritage Queensland on a bus tour introducing significant engineering heritage sites across central and North Ipswich. As we visit sites ranging from mining to railways, water supply and municipal engineering, expert commentary will be provided describing the history of these places.
